Beauty as Duty

We love museum visits – we tend to do some of our best thinking when in the midst of beautiful art and creativity. Also, you always leave a museum a little bit smarter.

Beginning October 8, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston will be hosting a collection of clothing and textiles from World War II Britain. We love fashion – and are especially drawn to the history of fashion. We’ll definitely be checking out this special event.

Beauty as Duty, Textiles and the Home Front in WWII Britain, Museum of Fine Arts, 465 Huntington Avenue, Boston, October 8, 2011-May 28, 2012, free-$22 (Wednesday evenings at the MFA are free. Also, be sure to check out the Fall Open House). For more information on this special exhibit, please visit the MFA website.
