The Weekender: October 14-16

If you’re going to be in Boston this weekend, we have a feeling you’re going to be busy. There are so many things going on! Per usual, here are some our picks for fun things to do this weekend.

Music City. Every weekend, there are lots of concert choices in Boston. Boyce Avenue will be here on Friday and Saturday nights. The sound of music will echo through Faneuil Hall during this weekend’s College A Capella Competition. Check out the Earth Action Concert on Sunday evening to benefit Earth Action, a program dedicated to bringing science literacy and community action to Boston’s kids and teens.

Fashion Meets Fun. We love quirky fashion designer Betsey Johnson. She’s holding a fashion show at the Cyclorama on Saturday night and we can’t wait to see the creative way she’ll showcase her designs.

Getting Sporty. The Patriots are ready to mess with Texas. They’re taking on the Dallas Cowboys at 4:15 pm on Sunday afternoon at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. If team sports aren’t your thing, take a peaceful hike through the Blue Hills Reservation in Milton. You can always put your best paw forward with your favorite animal friend during Sunday’s Boston Walk for Animals sponsored by the Humane League.

Don’t Fall Apart. Take some time this weekend to enjoy the fall weather in Boston. The forecast looks great: cooler temps but no rain. The leaves are slowly changing color and dropping from the trees. Explore Beacon Hill, the Public Garden, or the North End and take in the festive scenery.
