Fall at MassArt, Made in Fort Point Reopens
MassArt is celebrating their new fall exhibitions, Viewpoints and Excellent Swiss Design, with a reception on Tuesday, October 7th, from 6-8pm. Held in the school’s galleries at 621 Huntington Avenue, the event is free and open to the public! The evening will also feature a pop-up men’s fashion event from designer Sandro Marzo, and artists from both exhibitions will be present.
Viewpoints: 20 Years of Adderley (September 22-December 6) features work from artists who have given the esteemed Adderley lecture over the last two decades, including Richard Mayhew and Dulce Pinzón, whose works are pictured here. The assembled works represent diverse viewpoints, subject matter, and mediums, bringing together a multigenerational group of prominent artists.
Excellent Swiss Design (September 10-November 22) showcases selections from the Design Prize Switzerland, ranging from product design to furniture, fashion, and textiles. A panel of designers and experts will discuss international design on November 6 – you can reserve a free ticket for the talk here.
P.S. Tonight is the reopening of Made in Fort Point – a shop celebrating the artists of the Fort Point neighborhood! The evening will feature a public art unveiling, an artist’s talk, and a presentation of wearable art, with food and drink donated by Row 34.
