Milo’s First Flight
This past weekend, we attended a family wedding in North Carolina — and Milo took his first flight! It was a quick two-hour non-stop flight, and he did so great. He’s three months old (today!) and is such a curious little guy. He loves lights, shadows, and of course looking at people.
A few other highlights from the weekend, if you’d like to see…
While we were in Durham for a wedding, we had the opportunity to visit a friend’s brewery, Durty Bull Brewing Co. The brewery was closed while we visited, but we sampled some beer and took a quick tour of the facility. Since Matt is involved in the liquor business, I can appreciate how much work and dedication opening (and sustaining!) a brewery takes. Hopefully, we can visit again next time we’re in the area…
Although Milo technically attended a wedding earlier this summer in Provincetown, this was the first big wedding he was invited to. Matt’s cousin got married and it was a beautiful event. The venue, Chapel Hill Carriage House, was stunning and there was a pond, plus llamas and goats on property. Milo was the only baby invited and he felt quite special with all the extra attention – plus he loved snuggling with his Grandpa H and uncles and aunt.
It was a great trip, and I’m happy that we successfully took our first flight as a family of three!
