The Weekender: January 27-29

Happy Friday! I am headed on a big trip this coming Tuesday (be sure to follow along on Instagram) and will be packing and (hopefully) relaxing these next few days. Have a great weekend.

Music of the World. One night, three stages, and ten bands! If you’re feeling a little stressed out by all that’s going on in the world (we know we are), this weekend’s CRASHfest is a great opportunity to let loose and dance a little, while enjoying music from different parts of the world. Tickets available here.

A Celebration of Chocolate! The Harvard Square Business Association is celebrating the 9th annual Harvard Square Chocolate Festival this weekend. The event will include free tastings from 20+ vendors while some neighboring restaurants will highlight chocolate on their menus.

Brunch for a Good Cause. The Greater Boston Food Bank’s annual Super Hunger Brunch is taking place in Boston this Saturday and Sunday. Thirty local restaurants will host a prix fixe brunch with prices set at $25, $35, or $50 a person – with 100% of proceeds going to the food bank.

10 Years of Eataly. It’s only been a few months since Eataly Boston opened its doors, but the original Eataly in Torino, Italy was opened ten years ago. To celebrate, Eataly Boston is hosting a celebratory weekend of events including cooking classes, a fish auction, and they will be serving complimentary cake slices – yum!

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend!
