The Weekender: February 24-26

boston-weekend-events

I just returned from a big trip to Japan and France (more on that to come!) so I’m looking forward to taking it easy this weekend. It’s so nice to relax at home after being away, especially with this amazing weather. Hope you enjoy the next few days…

Like a Boss. This Sunday, one of our favorite cycling studios, The Handle Bar, is hosting a pop-up featuring the work of local female entrepreneurs including fashion illustrator Holly Nichols, Allison Daroie of Paridaez and Kelly Brabants of Booty by Brabants. More information and RSVP here.

Winter Warrior Pub Crawl. Join the Boston Social Sports Club for their annual winter pub crawl this Saturday along Boylston Street. The afternoon includes drink specials, free appetizers, and t-shirts for the first 100 registrants. More information and tickets here.

A (Historic) Birthday Celebration. Celebrate Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s birthday at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge tomorrow. The event is free (registration is required) and will include cake (!) and a wreath-laying ceremony. Sounds like a really neat and different event. More here.

A Loony Event! It’s the 22nd annual Bugs Bunny Film Festival at The Brattle Theatre – that’s a lot of Daffy Duck. The week-long festival ends this weekend, but there’s still time to catch some of the fun.

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend!
