Giant Hay Sculpture at Franklin Park Zoo
Giant sculptures can be strange, a bit wacky and sometimes cool. This giant hay sculpture on display at the Franklin Park Zoo is pretty crazy. It is a fifteen foot giant red panda! Hey, it may be a little bizarre. But, we think it’s pretty neat.
Franklin Park Zoo and the Town of Killington, Vermont joined together to create this hay panda to kickoff the Killington Hay Festival as well as to celebrate the red panda twins born this summer at the zoo.
We think the hay sculpture is a great reason to head to the zoo. And while you are there, say hi to the monkeys!Franklin Park Zoo, One Franklin Park Road, Boston, on display September 28-mid-October, zoo admission is $10-$16. For more information, please visit the Franklin Park Zoo website.
