Rialto Serves Up Pie in the Sky

A few days ago, we had the opportunity to cook with Chef Jody Adams and her team in the Rialto kitchen. We love to get our hands dirty while having a behind the scenes look, so you can imagine our excitement! For many years, Rialto has donated their delicious pies to benefit Community Servings’ Pie in the Sky fundraiser, and this year was certainly no exception. The team whipped up one hundred pies, a variety of apple and pecan, to be eaten in homes across the state (and perhaps beyond). So far, Pie in the Sky has raised $525,000 which will help further their mission of feeding people who are chronically ill throughout the state.

PS. There’s still time to get a pie for Thanksgiving while supporting Community Servings’ efforts. Pies are no longer available to purchase online, but you can pick one up in one of the many cash and carry locations. For more information, please visit the Pie in the Sky website.
