The Year of the Dragon
Monday, January 23, marked the Chinese New Year. We’ve just begun the Year of the Dragon but the New Year celebration isn’t taking place until Sunday. On January 29, the streets of Chinatown will come alive during the Chinese New Year Parade. There will be Chinese Lions dancing in the streets to banging and clanging of cymbals and the loud pops of firecrackers. What a fun way to usher in the Year of the Dragon!
Chinese New Year Parade, Phillips Square, Chinatown, Boston, Sunday, January 29, 11am-5pm, free. For more information, please visit the event website.
