The Weekender: February 17-19

Hooray! It’s Friday! And a very sunny one, too. We’re looking forward to the nice weather in store for this weekend. We’re excited to enjoy some fresh air! Here are our top picks for the weekend.

Let It All Sink In. It’s the final weekend of the New England Boat Show. Even if you are not in the zone to buy a boat (and even if you never want one!), we think the boat show would be such a fun place to wander around and get lost.

Start the Weekend Right. We love going to events at the Liberty Hotel. The atmosphere is just so relaxing and perfect for starting off the weekend. Tonight, at 8pm, head over to Beacon Hill to check out The James Montgomery Band. And maybe have a glass of wine, or two.

Art and Animals. If you are lucky enough to have Monday off, join Drumlin Farm and the Museum of Fine Arts for an event geared towards kids (but, hey, we’re still kids at heart) during school vacation week. If you find yourself at the museum, be sure to wander around the new wing. It is beautiful and filled with so much inspiration and talent.

Wine and Dine at Boston Wine School. Remember that time we went back to school? We had so much fun! Well, there are two seats left in this weekend’s Wine, Cheese and the Pursuit of Happiness class. Bring on the cheese!

Winter Festival One Acts. This weekend, join Arsenal Center for the Arts and Zero Point Theater for a special Winter Festival.

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend!
