The Weekender: March 9-11

Life has been handing us lots of ups and downs lately. Never a dull moment for either of us! But we still make sure to take time to enjoy Boston and relax. Are you looking for something fun to do this weekend? Here are a few things that seem like a great time.

Luck of the Irish. Join in Boston’s 4th Annual Irish Pub Challenge on Saturday from 10am-8pm. Don’t forget to wear your drinking shoes.

Asian Education. On Saturday from 11am-3pm, Celebrate China at the Mandarin Oriental. Experience a lion dance, learn traditional Chinese paper painting, learn Tai Chi, and make your own paper lantern.

Maple Syrup. Learn the art of making maple syrup at Natick Community Organic Farm’s Maple Magic Day on Saturday from 9am-3pm.

All the Single Ladies. Saturday nights during All the Single Ladies, the ladies take the stage for singing, dancing, comedy, and naughtiness in this latest Improv Asylum production.

Sunny Sunday. We’ve heard that Boston is supposed to reach 58 degrees on Sunday. Unpack your spring clothes and get outside. Go for a walk or find a tasty spot for Sunday brunch.

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a fantastic weekend, especially Sunday’s spring-like temperatures!
