The Weekender: April 6-8

What are you celebrating this weekend? With both Easter and Passover on the calendar, many of us are spending our weekend rejoicing with family and attending religious services. We hope your social calendar is jam packed.

Egg-Stravaganza. On Saturday, the Cambridge Community Easter Egg-Stravaganza egg hunt offers games, prizes, and refreshments. Boston.com has compiled a list of local Easter Egg Hunts and events including an event for dogs! The Beehive presents an Easter Sunday Jazz Brunch and Dinner all day on Sunday, with brunch from 10am-4pm and dinner served until 10pm.

Passover Seder. For a modern twist on this traditional meal, dine at the Metropolitan Club. They’ve promised that there will be matzo balls and gefilte fish.

Go to Church. Yes literally go to Church. The Fenway area restaurant is celebrating the Green Monster’s 100 year anniversary with a special menu from the 1896 Fannie Farmer Cookbook.

In Your Easter Bonnet. This weekend’s forecast looks promising. Shop for the perfect Easter outfit at any of Boston’s trendy boutiques. Whether you opt for a sweet floral sundress, girly pastel denim, or a funky pop of neon, we’re sure you’ll look amazing.

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a lovely spring weekend!
