The Weekender: June 1-3

We’re so excited to usher in the month of June. We’ll be busy this weekend with a Bachelorette Party and an epic yard sale. If your weekend schedule isn’t quite as busy, here’s our list of top ways to fill your time.

National Donut Day. Today, June 1, is National Donut Day and Dunkin Donuts is giving out free donuts with each medium beverage purchase. Better yet, boost the Boston economy and celebrate Donut Day at one of the city’s local donut shops.

Diamond Jubilee. Across the pond, Great Britain is celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s 60 year reign. Celebrate at home with a 40% discount at British brand Ted Baker.

I’ve Got a Crush on You. Crush Boutique is celebrating it’s 5th anniversary this weekend. Stop by this Beacon Hill shop to celebrate with chocolates, champagne, and clothing/accessory raffles.

Why’s the Rum Gone? Don’t worry, the rum will be plentiful RumBa as the rum and champagne bar celebrates it’s grand opening this weekend. The grand opening celebration will take place on Saturday from 7pm-midnight, but you can visit RumBa any time this weekend for drinks and Caribbean fair.

So You Think You Can Dance. Karina Smirnoff, famous for her ballroom antics on Dancing with the Stars, will be at The Estate on Saturday night to celebrate the nightclub’s anniversary with a party starting at 10pm. Tickets are $15-$20 for this 21+ event.

Sparkle and Shine. Visit the Beacon Hill Hotel and Bistro on Sunday from 3:30-5pm for Sparkle V, a charity fashion show to benefit Rosie’s Place.
