SOWA Open Market and Art Walk

This weekend promises to be full of sunshine, and with the warmer weather come even more reasons to love Boston. This Sunday marks the return of the SOWA Open Market, one of our absolute favorite ways to enjoy the weekend! We love to explore the outdoor art and indie design vendors, the vintage market, and all of the interesting shops and galleries. Plus, we get to indulge in some amazing food at the farmer’s market and plethora of food trucks.

In addition to all the reasons to adore the SOWA Open Market any Sunday, this week is theĀ Annual SOWA Art Walk! From 11 am to 6 pm, over 60 artists at 450 Harrison Street along with many nearby galleries will open their doors to visitors. I always have a great time exploring the different studios and talking to the artists about their work. If you can’t make it, you can still visit the SOWA artists on the first Friday of each month, from 5-9 pm. If you have not been before, this video of First Fridays at SOWA can give you an idea of what to expect. So much fun!

Stephanie, thanks so much for the comment. We love the Vintage Market! It certainly fills a void in the depths of winter, too.
