Hot, Hot, Hot!
Boston JerkFest, a celebration of all things spicy and hot will be taking place in the South End on Saturday, June 29. The festival will feature an array of Caribbean-style food to live performances. Boston JerkFest will also offer a rum tasting including local craft beer, rum, and a variety of other Caribbean-themed libations from favorites Blue Hills Brewery, Privateer Rum, Goslings Rum, and more. Rum punch, please!
The event is family-friendly and there will be plenty of children’s activities available. A portion of the event’s proceeds will support Cambridge Carnival International, a non-profit that organizes the annual Cambridge Carnival in Kendall Square. This year’s Boston JerkFest is made possible by its wonderful sponsors including Jamaica Tourist Board, Mama Pearl’s Hot Sauce, Next Step Living, Honest Tea, Food Should Taste Good, Side Car, and Yelp!
