Club Passim’s campfire. festival

Natalie and I have so many great memories at Harvard Square’s Club Passim. The intimate venue has been hosting performers from across all the genres of music for more than 50 years, and was a launching point for the careers of Joan Baez, Tom Rush, Regina Spektor, and others. Club Passim is a non-profit, and strives to create a sense of community for area artists and their fans. In that vein, they created what is now known as the campfire. festival. This coming weekend marks the 15th anniversary of the annual event, which combines the interactive atmosphere of swapping tunes around a campfire with the excitement of welcoming both regulars and new artists to the Club Passim stage. What a great way to discover the local music scene!
