Fort Point Arts Community’s Open Studios
From the South End to Roslindale to Fort Point (and everywhere in between), artists are opening their studios to the community. It’s incredible to meander through the city’s studios and see the incredibly rich talent within our city limits.
This October, the Fort Point Arts Community will open their doors for the 34th Annual Open Studios Weekend. The historic waterfront warehouses and lofts house painters, sculptors, ceramicists, jewelers and fashion designers, photographers, and more. Open Studios allows the community to jump behind the scenes and meet local artists, while being able to pick up a unique piece to bring home. While you’re feeling inspired, participate in free art-making activities at Made in Fort Point and Atlantic Wharf Gallery (290 Congress Street) on Saturday and Sunday.
The weekend is organized by Fort Point Arts Community, and includes 150 artists who work and live in the neighborhood.
