Music in the Planetarium
When I was a child, I spent a night at the Museum of Science with my Girl Scouts troop. The highlight was running to see a late night Planetarium show in my pajamas. The magic of the universe – stars, planets, space – was so mystifying.
This Thursday evening, the Planetarium is hosting a special evening pairing cosmic visuals with beautiful live music. Acoustic guitarist Ian Ethan Case and Matthew Schoening on the electric cello will guide you through the galaxies and star systems. This would make a pretty neat date night, right?
Cosmic Loops: Music Beneath the Stars, Charles Hayden Planetarium, Museum of Science, Boston, Thursday, October 24, 7:45-9 pm, $15. For more information and to view a video preview, please visit the event site.
