Thanksgiving Without the Kitchen


For those who love to cook, Thanksgiving is a chance to serve a feast for those they love. While we enjoy cooking, we know that there are some who would rather be anywhere else than in front of a hot stove! For them, the city has plenty of options to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast without the time in the kitchen. Here are a few options that we came across for the busy, the non-cooks, and those who will be thankful to stay out of the kitchen on Thursday!

Market by Jean-Georges in the W Hotel is serving dinner from noon to 9pm. The menu is $48 a person and includes a celery root soup to start, roasted turkey with charred foie gras and autumn vegetables, and pumpkin cheesecake with gingersnaps and roasted pear. You can reserve online here.

Rialto in Harvard Square is serving a delicious-sounding three course menu from 1pm-7pm. The menu is $75 for adults and $35 for children. The traditional turkey and sides are available, as is venison with hazelnut, pan seared halibut and fennel, and arctic char with squash, cauliflower and lobster. The desserts sound amazing as well. For a little something different, visit The Beehive on Thanksgiving. The South End restaurant and bar is serving fall inspired dishes accompanied by live jazz from traditional Thanksgiving dinner with jazz from 11am to 10pm! More information and the menu available here.

Legal Harborside is offering a Thanksgiving prix-fixe menu on the second floor from noon to 8pm. You can choose from traditional turkey with potato, fall vegetables, and cranberry, or try roasted cod with turnip, mustard greens and scallops, among other options.
