Celebrating Valentine’s Day
I will be the first to say that Valentine’s Day can be overrated. However, it is a wonderful excuse to celebrate all the love in your life – romantic relationships, and even the all-important relationship with yourself. Next week, take time to indulge and honor all the wonderful relationships in your life.
Rather than feel pressure to celebrate on February 14, spread celebrations throughout the week.
Nothing says celebration quite like wine and chocolates, right? On Saturday, February 8, visit the Wine ConneXtion in North Andover for a Malbec tasting, which will be paired with signature chocolates from the Ye Old Pepper Companie. Walk-ins welcome, but you must be 21+.
Spread the love this February by by making a long paper heart chain with West Elm, who will donate $1 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for each heart. Stop by the Fenway store to participate on Tuesday, February 11. for which West Elm will donate $1 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The completed paper heart chains will be sent to St. Jude to decorate for Valentine’s Day.
Personally, I love revisiting classic romances this time of year. The Brattle Theatre is presenting a special showing of Casablanca on February 13 and 14 – no matter how many times I watch it, it never gets old.
Will you celebrate Valentine’s Day? If so, what will you do?
