The Weekender: March 7-9

the-weekender

I’m so happy to welcome the weekend! I’ve been battling a cold all week, so am looking forward to a weekend of restoration. Plus, good news! Daylight savings is on Sunday. Here are our tips for a great weekend.

For the Ears. This weekend, Carlos Nuñez, an incredible Galician piper, will perform at the first Revels FRINGE event, which aims to highlight folk music and artists who are blending music in interesting ways.

Meet the Maker. There are so many products out there. It can be an overwhelming world to navigate, quite honestly. That’s why when I find a product I love, I want to share it with the world. Even better when it involves a local business. One of my current must-haves is this mask from Shamanuti. It leaves my skin feeling so moisturized and healthy. This Saturday from 10 am to noon, stop by Follain to meet Beth Hopkins, founder of Shamanuti.

Cycle and Sweat. I’m looking forward to trying out my first ClassPass this weekend. I’m planning to take Exhale Spa’s barre class. Have you ever tried it? We’re also excited to try SoulCycle to see what all the hype is about.

Star-Studded Spanish Festival. Flamenco dancing has been a constant item on my bucket list. It just sounds so fun! This weekend, the Flamenco Festival will kick-off at the Berklee Performance Center.

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend! xo
