The Weekender: March 14-16

the-weekender

It’s been a busy week – and let’s not forget about the snow – so suffice to say we are eager for the weekend ahead. Here are our top picks for the next few days.

Get In Action with Class Pass. After finding roots in the New York City market, ClassPass has made its way to Boston. A monthly subscription, ClassPass enables you to take classes – from barre to yoga to cycling – at a variety of Greater Boston studios and gyms. We’re hitting a yoga class this weekend!

Farm to Glass. If you’re in the mood to try something new, this weekend’s mixology throwdown presented by Mass Farmers Market and Edible Boston is a great place to start. A small group of Boston’s beloved mixologists will compete in Saturday’s throwdown by incorporating farm fresh ingredients in their cocktails.

Modern and Pop Art Variety Show.  The Calamity Co Dance group is gearing up for their show this Saturday. A modern and pop art variety show, the group will focus on modern dance, but will also include music, film, and theatre.

Everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. In a town as Irish as Boston, St. Patrick’s day is a must-celebrate holiday. Get cultured with a celebration at the Irish Cultural Centre of New England or catch one of the many pub crawls around town. On Sunday, support local artists at the St. Patrick’s Local Artist Market in Somerville.

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend! xo
