‘Future of Junk Food’ Pop-Up Dinner with Kitchensurfing

Chefs Mark O'Leary and Samuel Monsour

What is your favorite junk food? We all have certain items that we crave even if we don’t understand the ingredient list. Personally, I’ve always had a soft spot for Drake’s Devil Dogs – perhaps more for the nostalgia factor than anything else. It can be fun to experiment by making variations of favorite junk foods at home – and finding them on a menu while dining out is always a treat.

On March 28, KitchensurfingRevere Hotel and Chefs Samuel Monsour and Mark O’Leary will host a pop-up dinner with the intention of bringing junk food into the future. The chefs will recreate some of the most iconic and beloved junk food items using whole, nutrient-dense ingredients.

The pop-up dinner will consist of seven courses (!) and cocktails to match. There will be two seatings – at 6 pm and 9 pm. The dinner is the first in a six-part pop-up series, so be on the look out for upcoming dinners throughout the year.

Future of Junk Food Pop-Up Dinner, The Emerald Lounge, Revere Hotel, 200 Stuart Street, Friday, March 28 at 6 and 9 pm. $125 per person, 21+. For more information, please call 617-457-2626 or visit the online registration site.
