The Weekender: March 21-23

the-weekender

It is the first weekend of spring! There are still a few cold days coming our way, but spring blooms are in sight. I will be painting ceilings, packing boxes, and moving this weekend, but here are a few fun ways for you to celebrate the new season!

Design of All Kinds. The first ever Boston Design Week is happening now! There are lots of events around town this week, focused on the whole spectrum of design. The calendar has plenty of demonstrations, receptions, and exhibitions to inspire you.

Our Favorite Paintings. I got a chance to see Boston Loves Impressionism at the MFA this week, and it was great to learn more about Boston’s history as one of the earliest places impressionism was appreciated. So many amazing paintings!

Spring on the Stage. The Revels celebrates the season with Spring Sing, an afternoon of music, dancing, and theatre. Check their website for more details.

Stroll Fort Point. One of our favorite local artists, Adam O’Day, is showing his work at the FP3 Gallery, and we keep dreaming of the ceviche at Row 34.

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend! xo
