Boston Landmarks Orchestra
Every summer, the Boston Landmarks Orchestra brings amazing live music to the public. This summer’s series on the Esplanade kicks off this Wednesday at the Hatch Shell with a performance of Carmina Burana (which I love!), featuring singers from around the city.
The series continues with a concert every Wednesday night at 7pm, ending on August 27th with a celebration of the Star-Spangled Banner and the music that influenced its creation. The other Wednesday concerts include Latin music, African American spirituals, classical music, and opera. Such a great way to enjoy some of the city’s amazing musicians, the breeze off the Charles, and maybe a picnic! For more information take a look at the Boston Landmark Orchestra website.
P.S. So many reasons to love the Esplanade in the summer.
