Dog Lovers Summer Social
I didn’t grow up with a dog, but always knew that I wanted one someday. Four years ago, my husband and I added a loving and energetic Portuguese Water Dog to our family and now we can’t imagine our lives without a dog. When Weber was young, we brought him to weekly puppy classes at the Animal Rescue League. It was such a fun way for him to interact with other puppies – and most importantly, for my husband and I to learn the ropes of owning a rambunctious puppy.
I’ve always loved the work and mission of the Animal Rescue League – and it’s actually the place we adopted our cat over eight years ago! If you are an animal lover or summer social lover (or both!), join the Animal Rescue League on Tuesday, August 19 for a summer social at their South End headquarters. The evening will include live music, free food, and lots of canine fun. The first 100 people to arrive will receive a swag bag and a dog leash.
Summer Social with the Animal Rescue League, 10 Chandler Street, South End, Tuesday, August 19, 5:30 to 7:30pm, free. For more information and to register, please go here.
