Fall, and a whiskey tasting

We are back! I hope that you have all enjoyed these last two weeks. While we have been gone, the seasons seem to have shifted: there is a crisp edge to the breeze these last few days that signals fall is on it’s way. As much as we adore warm sun and lazy beach days, the energy and abundance of fall makes it one of our favorite seasons. Fresh apples and roots, cider, and dappled leaves – it is such a beautiful timeĀ in our little corner of the world.

Saloon in Davis Square is running a series of whiskey tasting classes this fall, and cozily sipping a glass sounds like a nice way to spend a fallĀ evening. The first class, Whiskey 101, is tomorrow night, and includes sampling bourbon, rye, Irish whiskey, and Scotch. For tickets and more information, check out the eventbrite page. Future classes include a session on Asian whiskey and one focused on Irish whiskey. What a fun way to go back to school!
