Let’s Talk About Food Festival

We make decisions about food every day, and cooking and enjoying meals with friends and family is such a pleasure. Beyond satisfying hunger and bringing people together, the decisions we make about food have implications for health, the environment, and the economy.

The annual Let’s Talk About Food Festival sprang from a desire to encourage conversation and share knowledge. This year’s event, held on Saturday at Copley Square, will include hands-on cooking demonstrations, edible gardens, a burger recipe challenge among some of the city’s most talented chefs, and film screenings. Saturday events begin at 10am and extend into the late afternoon, and the event kicks off on Friday evening at 6pm with a talk from activists on “voting with your fork.” See the full schedule here, and find out more on the event website.
