The weekend ahead is full of fun events around town. We can’t wait to get outside after quite the rainy past few days. Have a great weekend, friends!

Books, Books, Books! The Boston Book Festival is back this weekend. The festival includes seminars, poetry slams, a street fair, story time for the kids (and adults!), and much more. The entire schedule can be viewed here.

Light up the Night. This Saturday night, see Boston in a different light at Illuminus Boston! Large-scale light projections, music, and live performances will take over SoWa from 6:30pm to 12:30am on Saturday.

Catch a Bargain. Ame and Lulu, the Newton-based accessories company for active lifestyles is hosting a warehouse sale on Friday and Saturday. Tote bags, cosmetic cases, and more up to 80% off. The sale will take place at 71A Chapel Street in Newton, from 11am to 8pm on Friday and 11am to 4pm on Saturday. 

Open Studios. This weekend, Dorchester Arts Collaborative presents Dorchester Open Studios featuring over 100 artists. For the full schedule of events, please go here.
