Thursday Crush: Sarah Wormann

I love Sarah Wormann’s detailed, colorful watercolors and drawn maps – they are so unique! I came across Sarah’s work last February at the BCAE’s Local Love event (happening again this year on February 9 – learn more here!).

While her favorite classes in school were always art-related, Sarah only became serious about making art a few years ago. She is most inspired by the travel she has had the chance to experience, and by nature, as can be seen by all the leaves, flowers, and earth tones in her work.

Sarah moved to Nicaragua last year to dedicate more time to a non-profit she helped start, Amped for Education. How inspiring! Her latest project is a series of abstract watercolors inspired by the brightly colored buildings of her new home – check out her website and etsy shop to keep up to date on Sarah’s work, and follow her beautiful instagram account to see more.
