The Weekender: February 27-March 1

weekender

Hello, March! There may still be feet of snow piled up outside, but the calendar shows that warmer months aren’t too far away! In just a few short weeks, we’ll be basking in a little extra sunlight thanks to Daylight Savings. In the meantime, here a few ideas for the weekend ahead.

Back to the Basics. This Saturday, SW Basics founder and author of Skin Cleanse, Adina Grigore will be at Follain in the South End from 10am to 1pm. Adina will be signing copies of her new book and sharing her love for all things healthy beauty.

A Weekend for Brunch! Celebrate March with a relaxing brunch. The brunch menu at Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro is one of our favorites.

Dine Out Boston. All of this snow has been hard on local businesses. Support some of your favorite local restaurants with Dine Out Boston, a two-week celebration honoring the Boston food scene. The two-week event starts Sunday night. To see a list of participating restaurants, please go here.

Year of the Goat. Celebrate the Chinese New Year on Sunday with the Chinese New Year Parade. The parade will take place in Chinatown and will feature lion dances, drums, firecrackers, and much more.

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend!
