The Really Big Screen. The Museum of Science is offering free tickets to their IMAX theater every Friday in March! Tickets are first come, first served, and films include trip to the Galapagos Islands, a voyage into Mayan history and culture, and travels alongside majestic humpback whales. Get in the Spirit. Start celebrating St. Patrick’s Day early this year with this weekend’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival at Harpoon. Friday from 5:30-11pm and Saturday from 1-7pm, the brewery will get the party going with pretzels, live Irish music, and Harpoon Boston Irish Stout along with other brews, under their heated tents. Chili for a Cause. Saturday’s Great Boston Chili Bowl brings together restaurants from Boston and Cambridge to serve hot chili and cold beer, while raising fund for ALS research. Find out more here.
The Year of the Goat. On Sunday, celebrate the Chinese New Year in Harvard Square. The parade begins at 1pm in Brattle Square and finishes at Hong Kong Restaurant with food, performances and arts and crafts. Find out more on the Harvard Square website. Here’s to the year of the goat!
