The Weekender: March 27-29

weekender

March often seems like the longest month. Not to wish time away, but I am so excited to embrace April next week. I’m looking forward to seeing less snowy days in the forecast and more signs of spring. A few ideas for the weekend ahead…

For the Love of Letterpress. Flex your creative muscle with Angela Liguori of Studio Carta and other local designers and letterpress printers at this weekend’s letterpress event. More information can be found here. PS. It’s free!

Donut Moment. Let’s be honest. The weekends are all about relaxation and a bit of indulgence, no? When it comes to indulgence, I often choose the sweet variety. Take a trip to one of our favorite donut spots this weekend for a fresh dozen.

Design Week Boston. If you haven’t been able to participate in Design Week Boston, there’s still time to catch workshops, events, and more before the week-long event comes to a close on Sunday.

An Unconference. Hone your history skills at this weekend’s History Camp, which will bring together speakers on topics ranging from Roman soldiers, American suffragettes, Salem witch trials, and the Boston Post Road. The event will take place at the Harriet Tubman House.

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend!
