What to Cook for Dinner?
It’s a well-known story: around 6pm on any given weeknight, I question what to cook for dinner. What do I feel like? What do I have in the fridge? What’s easy to make (and even more important, will be easy to clean up)? My husband loves to cook, but during the week, he’s in the same boat. Cooking dinner is often the last thing we think about – and the thought usually occurs when we have little to no energy left.
Enter: Just Add Cooking. The week before you want to make dinner with Just Add Cooking, you simply go to their website and select the recipes you’d like to try. Before the week begins, a box of fresh produce, spices, and anything else you need to create a dish arrives at your doorstep. It’s the perfect solution for the days when you know that you won’t have the energy to shop, cook, and clean. For me, I find that the decision on what to make is the hardest one!
I tried Just Add Cooking a few weeks back, and really enjoyed the recipes. From sausage and broccoli rabe pasta to mini meatloaves, we were able to try different recipes that we wouldn’t normally cook. The produce was so fresh and the spices came in the cutest packages – exactly the amount the recipe called for! My personal favorite dish of the week was the sausage and broccoli rabe pasta – it’s hard to go wrong with fresh pasta and broccoli. Yum!
Have you tried Just Add Cooking? What was your experience like?
