The Weekender: April 10-12

weekender

What a dreary week! I can’t be the only one ready for a little warm weather and sunshine. Here are a few ideas for the weekend ahead…

Sweat Series. Well+Good is bringing their popular Sweat Series to Boston for a pop-up this Sunday morning. The event is first come, first served so be sure to hop out of bed to make it to the 9am class at Newbury Street’s Athleta. Emily Susen of Barry’s Bootcamp and Recycle Studio will be leading the group through class. Finish out the morning with juice from Mother Juice and a parting goodie bag from Follain.

Formaggio Kitchen BBQ. The snow is melting and the smell of BBQ food is in the air. I couldn’t be much happier! This weekend, dive into the summer BBQ spirit with Formaggio Kitchen’s BBQ, where you can pick up perfectly grilled, pulled, or smoked meats. Check out the full menu here – and be sure to pre-order if you are looking to bring  home a large quantity!

Art Auction & Benefit. This weekend, MassArt will host their 26th annual benefit art auction. The live and silent auctions will feature over 600 pieces of work. Additional details here.

Nightshift Brewing Tabletop Day. We love the beers at Nightshift Brewing – but that’s not the only thing we love. The taproom is inviting with long wooden tables and smaller seating areas around wine barrels. Play a game of corn hole and grab a snack from the visiting food truck. All in all, it’s a great time. Additional details about the special event this weekend can be found here.

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend!
