Nashoba Brook Bakery
As the weather gets warmer (hooray!), I find myself craving time outside. Hello, Vitamin D.
Last weekend, I ventured out to the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge for a morning hike. On our way back to the city, I knew that we had to stop at Nashoba Brook Bakery for lunch. It’s one of my favorite spots – especially in the nice weather.
You may already be familiar with Concord-based Nashoba Brook Bakery, as you can find their bread at many Whole Foods and various markets throughout the area. I love their olive bread! So good.
In West Concord, Nashoba Brook Bakery & Café is perfect for lunch, or anytime really. There’s always plenty of indoor seating, but I’ve only been in the nice weather – and nothing compares to sitting at one of their picnic tables along the brook. It’s such a calm and sunny spot!
If you visit, be sure to get a sandwich! You can make your own or order one of their suggested sandwiches. I love the arugula, apple, cheddar, and mustard sandwich on Harvest bread. Yum!
I promise you won’t be disappointed. Here’s to many more beautiful days and picnics outside!
