The Weekender: June 5-7

weekender

Hello, weekend! We hope that you have a great few days off. There are plenty of excuses to be outside this weekend – enjoy every second.

Beacon Hill Art Walk. Explore hidden gardens and walkways this Sunday with the Beacon Hill Art Walk. From noon to 6pm, about 100 local artists will exhibit their work. The art walk is a great way to spend the afternoon exploring Beacon Hill and discovering new works of art.

An Arts Festival! We love art, and there’s plenty of it to go around this weekend! On Saturday, peruse the work of 75+ artists at the Coolidge Corner Arts Festival, which will take place at the Devotion School. During the festival, you can snack on delicious bites from food trucks including The Cod SquadTrolley DogsTenoch, and Bon Me.

CREATE. In it’s fourth year, CREATE Boston brings together local talent – pairing artists and chefs – to create memorable dishes and experiences for guests. It’s such a neat concept!

Sunday Sparkler. Enjoy an afternoon of fashion, food, and good vibes with Beacon Hill Bistro’s Sparkle 8. The latest summer fashions will be modeled as guests snack on hors d’oeuvres and sip cocktails. A percentage of the proceeds will benefit Rosie’s Place.

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend!
