Thursday Crush: Fish Tacos

There are some things that just feel like summer. Gin and tonics, lemonade, strawberries, yum! For me, fish tacos are one of those things – a dish that brings to mind vacations, long dinners with friends on a deck, the smell of the ocean.

Since I became gluten intolerant, we’ve been making our own tortillas, which makes such a huge difference! It takes a while, but if you have the time to hang out and chat in the kitchen flipping tortillas, I recommend it! The first time we tried, we didn’t have a tortilla press, and it was so much more work – this cast iron tortilla press makes it much easier. (Tip: Line the press with a ziplock bag.)

There are so many options! Lately we have been dressing tacos up with radish and jalapeƱo, cabbage with lime and spices, and this amazing avocado pepita dip. What are your favorite summer foods?
