Bastille Day on Marlborough Street

Just as we have our Fourth of July, the French celebrate le quatorze juillet as their national holiday. The date commemorates the storming of the Bastille prison, which marks the beginning of the French Revolution. Today, there is a big parade down the Champs-Elysées, along with general merriment. Even though we are in the U.S., why not join the party? This Friday, the French Cultural Center hosts a street party with music, food, and drinks – so fun! Tickets are $28 in advance and $35 at the door. For more info, visit the French Cultural Center website. Hope to see you there!
