Revels RiverSing

On Sunday, September 20, welcome in fall and celebrate the Autumnal Equinox with the 12th annual Revels RiverSing! Starting in Harvard Square and continuing along the Charles River in Cambridge, the FREE participatory event will feature over 150 performers. However, the unique aspect of the event is the inclusion of the audience. Lyrics are printed in the program and everyone is encouraged to join in!

Musical guests include traditional New Orleans band Eli & the Hot Six, the RiverSing Chorus, percussion ensemble Bloco AfroBrazil, and more. Plus, there will be acrobats, street performers, and giant butterflies!

Event Timeline:
5:00 pm: Gather in Winthrop Park for family festivities including face-painting, hula-hooping, a “honk” band and more!
5:45 pm: Parade to the River (all join)
6:00 pm: The singing along the Charles begins!
(Come early and enjoy a picnic along the River amidst the splendor of the Parklands.)
