Yoga for Bikers

This Tuesday a yoga series geared (get it?!) towards cyclists kicks off at Hub Bicycle in Cambridge! The evening series runs from 7:30-8:30pm through October 20. The donation-based class (suggested contribution $5-10), aims to make yoga accessible to cyclists, while a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Boston Cyclist Union.

The collaboration between Hub Bicycle and party planner Crystal Rosa (otherwise known as Miss Fête) began when Crystal began feeling aches and tight muscles from her bike commute and was looking for a way to stretch these muscles. She took a class from Allie Platt (registered yoga teacher, Reiki practioner, and student of Urban Environmental Policy and Planning at Tufts) at a festival, and then discovered that Allie was an avid bike commuter as well! As a women-owned business, Hub Bicycle loves supporting other women business owners and the bicycling community, and is excited to be involved in this offering. You can sign up to attend through eventbrite!

Tuesday evenings at Hub Bicycle, 1036 Cambridge Street, Cambridge. For more information, check out the event page.
