Happy Friday! It looks like the gorgeous weather is here to stay. Enjoy these next few days!

Roaring Twenties Exhibit. The International Poster Gallery on Newbury Street launched their new exhibit showcasing workplace propaganda posters produced in the 1920’s on October 1. The posters were distributed to factories and companies across America to boost morale of the American workforce through punchy slogans and striking visual metaphors. This free exhibit is open to the public and runs through November 15.

HONK! Fest. This weekend, street bands take over the streets in Somerville and Cambridge for the annual HONK! Fest. The event is free, open to the public, and includes a lantern parade and plenty of live music!

Light the City. Illuminus is back this weekend and we’re so excited! On Saturday from 6:30pm to 12:30am, Landsdowne Street will become a canvas for artists, performers, and creative technologists. The 30 interactive art projects look so neat, especially Waking the Monster and Between Doors.

Open Doors. The Fenway Alliance opens their doors to the public on Monday. If you have the day off, be sure to check out this free event. The annual event includes theatre workshops, indoor kite flying, walking tours, open studios, live music, and free access to some of the city’s best museums including the Museum of Fine Arts, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and MassArt’s Bakalar and Paine Galleries.
