The Weekender: November 20-22

weekender

Can you believe that next week is already Thanksgiving? Crazy! I am actually headed to Costa Rica tomorrow where I’ll be celebrating the holiday with a little R&R. There are lots of great events happening this weekend. Enjoy…

Home Decor Show. I’m in a total nesting mode (thanks, winter). If you love interior design, attend this weekend’s home decor show at The Cyclorama. The show is designed to capture a range of historic, modern, and contemporary furnishings, fine art and design, and antiques.

Let There Be Light! As we head into Thanksgiving week, the holiday decorations are starting to pop up around town. We have to admit, we wish the twinkly lights on Commonwealth Avenue would stay up all year! On Saturday, watch as the giant tree in Faneuil Hall lights up. This is the first holiday tree lighting of the year, and it’s bound to put you in a festive mood. More information including schedule available here.

Astronomy After Dark. As we head into colder weather, the Museum of Science’s Astronomy After Hours program will be closing doors until March. This Friday night, head over to the museum for their final program of the season.

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend!
