Holiday Strollin’

It’s the season for holiday strolls! Two events this week make holiday shopping more fun.

Beacon Hill Holiday Stroll. This Thursday, December 10, from 6-9 pm, Charles Street will be closed to traffic as shops offer refreshments and music. You can even enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride down Charles Street! For the littles, Hill House is offering free photos with Santa from 3:30-5:30 (and collecting donations of clothing and other newborn necessities), after which Santa will light the tree. I love this event – Charles Street is always charming, but even more so when cars are replaced with holiday decorations and carolers!

Holiday Stroll in Fort Point. Then on Friday, December 11, holiday strollers can shift to Fort Point! From 4-8pm, over 20 restaurants, boutiques, pop-up shops and studios will be open. Live music, free snacks and special offers sweeten the evening. Find out more about the offerings on the event website. This sounds like a fun way to explore one of our favorite neighborhoods!
