The Weekender: December 11-13

Happy Friday! We’re excited for the weekend ahead, and hope you are, too. Enjoy…

A Spirit Release Party! Short Path Distillery is launching two new spirits, a triple sec and rosemary-forward gin, at a block party tonight co-hosted by neighbors Night Shift Brewery and Boston’s Bit Fest Bit Lab.  There will be live music, food from Munch Mobile Kitchen, distillery and brewery tours, and a craft market pop-up from Boston & Bale.

Eat Boutique Holiday Market. I love holiday markets! They always put me in the holiday spirit. This weekend, head to Allston to visit the Eat Boutique Holiday Market. The market, open Wed-Sun until December 20th, is free and open to the public. Vendors include Stewart & Claire, Boston Bonbon, Tatte Bakery, Loyal Supply Co., Apotheker’s Kitchen, Black Magic Coffee Co., and many others (full vendor list here)! This weekend, there will be food trucks, book signings, and lots of interesting workshops.

Holiday on Ice. This Saturday beginning at 11am, celebrate the season with the 10th annual Holiday on Ice at the Kendall Square ice skating rink. Free admission all day, plus free food and a free ice skating show at 2pm featuring local and international world-class professional skaters.

Gingerbread Houses + Beer. This Sunday, grab a friend and head to Somerville’s Aeronaut Brewery for an afternoon of beer, live music, and gingerbread house construction! Tickets and more information here.

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend!
