The Weekender: December 18-20

weekender

Happy Friday! Today is actually my birthday – it really snuck up on me this year! It’s going to be a warm few days, so we’re looking forward to getting outside. With Christmas next week already, we have some last minute shopping to do. Here are a few ideas for the weekend.

Cycle and Spin. Ride to the music of DJ Nick Bishop at Trillfit’s CYC class at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel. The class is Saturday at 2pm – music is such a great motivator while working out, and this sounds so fun! Tickets and info here.

Last Minute Gifts. Allison from local clothing line Paridaez will be hand-delivering holiday kits and other orders in the Boston area through to Christmas Eve – order in the morning and receive the delivery that afternoon! Email Allison at allison@paridaez.com for more info.

Dining Out. Natalie tried the new restaurant State Street Provisions, the first Boston proper restaurant from the Grafton Street Group, and really enjoyed it. I recently revisited Pastoral – so good! In the spirit of the season, you can add a donation benefiting the homeless at a selection of local restaurants with the Hearth Shares program.

Holiday Shows. This weekend would be a perfect time to enjoy the holiday lights with a stroll around town (one of our favorite things to do this time of year!) or catch a holiday show. The Revels and The Nutcracker.

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend!
