Last Minute Holiday Gift Ideas

Can you believe that Christmas is this week? This season has flown by. As we near the holiday, shipping dates have come and gone for the most part. If you’re still in need of a gift or two, there’s no better time to shop locally. Here are a few of my favorite gift ideas:

– I love these etched rocks glasses featuring maps of Boston streets, especially when paired with a bottle of locally-made gin! Both can be picked up at Social Wines in Southie.

– Who doesn’t love to be pampered? I love how these bath salts smell, and the blue bottle is so soothing to look at, too. I’d pair it with a whipped shea butter (comes in three sizes), which has a beautiful natural orange scent.

– A flower CSA!

– Do you have a friend who loves coffee? Encourage them to take a Japanese-style coffee break with a beautiful pair of handpainted mugs made in Kyoto, Japan. The mugs feature flowers to symbolize the changing of seasons — something we can certainly appreciate in Boston! $125 for a set of two cups and two 9 oz. bags of coffee, available at Ogawa Coffee.

– Delicious honey-sweetened chocolate!

– If you’re looking for a great hostess gift, we love these locally-made napkins. They’re bound to brighten up any space, and can be found at these shops.
