Staying Warm at the ICA

ICA-Boston

The halls of the city’s museums are a perfect refuge from this cold winter weather, and tomorrow the ICA is free to visit all day long, from 10am to 9pm! (More here.)

It’s been too long since I made a visit, and there is lots to see. This is the last week to catch an exhibition on the legacy of Black Mountain College (pictured above), with works from Robert Rauschenberg, Cy Twombly, Ruth Asawa, Willem de Kooning, and more. Tomorrow evening will feature live music and dance by Merce Cunningham(more here and here) in the galleries, as well as guided tours, talks, and art-making.

Even if you don’t make it to the ICA tomorrow, there are lots of interesting upcoming events, performances, and exhibitions. We love having places like this in our city, where we can be inspired and stay warm too!
