The Weekender: January 29-31

boston-weekend-events

Can you believe it’s the end of January?! The weather this weekend looks pretty mild – it almost feels like spring. (It’s a bit uncanny.) We hope you have a wonderful few days. Our picks for the weekend:

Strolling in the City. Long walks are one of our favorite weekend activities! If you are walking with a babe, there is still time to enter our giveaway to win a coat insert for babywearing!

Calling All Chocoholics! Harvard Square is throwing a chocolate festival this weekend. The highlight of the three-day event is a free tasting on Saturday from 1-2pm. Meet on Brattle Plaza to sample treats from Ben & Jerry’s, Cabot Candy, Crema Café, El Jefe, Follow the Honey, J.P. Licks, Shake Shack, Toscano, UNO and wagamama. More here.

Super Hunger Brunch. Brunch this weekend at a selection of local restaurants and every $1 you spend will provide 3 nutritious meals to those in need. More on the Greater Boston Food Bank website.

Winter Wildlife. This weekend is Winter Carnival at Drumlin Farm, with programs focused on animal’s winter homes, finding tracks in the snow, and more. Plus, learn how to make maple syrup!

Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at info@thebostondaybook.com. Have a wonderful weekend!
