The Weekender: April 1-3
Can you believe this weather? Springy and sunny one moment and now… talk of snow? What can you expect living in New England? This weekend, I have family visiting from out of town and we’re celebrating with my baby shower. I’m so excited! Wherever this weekend takes you, I hope it’s a relaxing one.
Spring Makeovers + Shopping Event! Join our friend and W3LL PEOPLE co-founder Shirley Pinkson at a fun makeover shopping event at NIC+ZOE in Chestnut Hill from noon-3pm this Saturday. To reserve your spot, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 617-527-2025.
Music vs. Cancer. This Saturday, Brass Union will host the sixth annual Music vs. Cancer event to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The party will feature live music, complimentary appetizers, shuffleboard tournament, plus silent auction and raffle.
A Film Festival. The Harvard College Film Festival is back this weekend for the third year in a row. The festival will feature student film screenings, lectures, and an awards ceremony. Full schedule of events available here.
A Cozy Weekend In. It seems like the weather forecast is looking pretty gloomy (and chilly!) this weekend. Perhaps a restorative weekend at home is just what you have in mind? If so, I recommend snuggling up in comfy PJs and reading a good book. I’ve been loving this heartbreaking and beautifully written memoir.
Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like to see listed on The Weekender? To be considered, send us a note at email@example.com. Have a wonderful weekend!
